Meet our Staff

Ms. Angelyn Dodson

Angelyn Dodson founded Westminster Academy in February of 2021. She grew up in a household where education was a central focus, and fell in love with reading and learning from a very young age. Angelyn received her first degree in liberal arts in 2014, her second degree in English & philosophy in 2016, and is currently working on a master's degree in literature.

Angelyn has held a variety of education jobs over the last 6 years, but none of them was quite what she was looking for - so she decided to create what she had in mind! Angelyn started the academy with the goal of providing the most exceptional, well-rounded, and individualized educational experience possible to students of all backgrounds. Along the way, she has met so many students & parents, teachers, and other people who have become such blessings in her life. Additionally, running the school has allowed her to pursue her passions of business development & nonprofit work.

Angelyn lives in Birdsboro with her family. In her spare time, Angelyn lifts weights, reads as much as possible, cooks & bakes, and volunteers for a local food bank as well as a literacy program.

Ms. Kirstyn Kemmerer

Kirstyn is an elementary school teacher at Westminster Academy. Growing up she moved around a bit, but currently, she lives in Oley with a few of her family members. She’s from a family of 10, which has sparked her love and passion to see kids grow, invest in them, and be an auntie/friend figure to them all.

Kirstyn has had many opportunities to care for children of all backgrounds since she was 9 years old, and had the privilege to help lead childcare for a month at a school in Switzerland in 2020.

She loves being outdoors, playing sports, spending time with family and friends, traveling, road trips, playing piano, and learning guitar!
