Meet our Staff

Ms. Angelyn Dodson

Founder/Principal, Middle & High School Teacher

Ms. Dodson founded Westminster Academy in February of 2021. She grew up in a household where education was a central focus, and fell in love with reading and learning from a very young age. She received her first degree in liberal arts in 2014, her second degree in English & philosophy in 2016, and is currently working on a master's degree in literature.

Ms. Dodson has held a variety of education jobs over the last 6 years, but none of them was quite what she was looking for - so she decided to create what she had in mind! She started the academy with the goal of providing the most exceptional, well-rounded, and individualized educational experience possible to students of all backgrounds. Along the way, she has met so many students & parents, teachers, and other people who have become such blessings in her life. Additionally, running the school has allowed her to pursue her passions of business development & nonprofit work.

Ms. Dodson lives in Birdsboro with her family. In her spare time, she goes to the gym, reads as much as possible, cooks & bakes, and volunteers for a local food bank as well as a literacy program.
